World No Tobacco Day was celebrated in Chapainawabganj with the theme “Grow food, not tobacco”.
On Wednesday (May 31) afternoon, the colorful rally started from the Chapainawabganj District Commissioner’s office premises and ended at the same place at the important places of the district city. Then Chapai Nawabganj Deputy Commissioner AKM Galiv Khan was the chief guest in a discussion meeting in the administrator’s conference room.

In the speech of the chief guest in the discussion meeting of the World Tobacco Free Day, Deputy Commissioner AKM Ghaliv Khan said that if complaints were received of selling cigarettes to school students and college students in Chapainawabganj district, the district commissioner AKM Ghaliv Khan directed the shopkeeper to be jailed. He said that it is important to take effective measures against tobacco now to protect the health of the young generation.
