 Planning Minister MA Mannan visited the office of daily Moumachi Kanth newspaper in Moulvibazar. On May 24, he visited the newspaper office and exchanged views with journalists. Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Dr. Urmi Binte Salam, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria, MA Rahim Shahid CIP, No. 6 Ekatuna Union Parishad Chairman Abu Sufian, Moumachi Kanth newspaper editors’ board president Mohammad Mokis Mansoor, Managing Board and Director Panel’s Dr. AKM Zillul Haque, Managing Editor Advocate Syed Sirajul Islam Sirazi and Shamim Tarafder etc. Planning Minister MA Mannan said – We hope that Moumachi Kanth will play a strong role in objective news and all developments of the government. Expressing satisfaction with the regular publication of the newspaper, he also said – a regular daily in Moulvibazar. I will always support you. All organizations are requested to cooperate with advertisement. On the other hand, he spoke as the chief guest at the seminar titled ‘Development of Moulvibazar district and what we should do’ at Rest Inn Hotel in the city. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Under the chairmanship of Urmi Binte Salam, the special guests in the seminar were – Member of Parliament for Moulvibazar-3 Constituency Neshar Ahmad, reserved woman Member of Parliament Syeda Zohra Alauddin, District Council Chairman Michabahur Rahman, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria, Mayor Md. Fazlur Rahman and Sadar Upazila Chairman Md. Kamal Hossain, campaign group coordinator Mohammad Mokis Mansoor and others. He also cut the ribbon of the two-day 44th National Science and Technology Week-2023 under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized by the district administration and visited various stalls.
