Two astronauts, including a Saudi woman, have successfully landed on the International Space Station (ISS) for the first time in history as citizens of Saudi Arabia. Rayanah Barnawi is one of the two astronauts from Saudi Arabia. She is a breast cancer researcher by profession, Rayanah has written her name as the first woman in Saudi history to go to space.
 Another Saudi astronaut Ali Al-Qarni accompanied Raynah in this successful landing. He is a fighter pilot by profession. Also accompanying them are astronaut Peggy Whitsons and prominent businessman and aviator John Saffner. This mission, organized by the US private space agency Axiom Space, has been named AX-2.
 According to the information, the journey of the mission started from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida at 5:37 PM local time on Sunday. SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket carrying them successfully landed on the International Space Station on Monday after 16 hours. The crew of the AX-2 mission will join the 7 astronauts already in space. Except for former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, all 3 other SpaceX missions have gone to the International Space Station as paying customers. It is known that the Saudi astronaut team will stay at the International Space Station for 8 days.
