At least 8 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims died in a fire in a hotel in the holy Mecca of Saudi Arabia. Apart from this, 6 more Pakistanis were injured.
It is known that eight Pakistani citizens were killed and six injured in a fire in a hotel in Mecca. The Pakistani Embassy in Jeddah has contacted the local authorities to provide assistance to the accident victims and their families.
According to information, the fire started from an electrical short circuit in a room on the third floor of the hotel in Makkah. Later the fire spread to other rooms of the hotel. And by this, the incident of terrible casualties took place.
It is said that the injured are being treated at a local hospital and are being monitored round the clock by the Pakistani embassy.
