The victim, Masud Rana, is the head teacher of Swarpbetanga Government Primary School. He is the son of Md. Abdul Momin of Konagram village of Narua Union.
The accused are Aziz Sheikh (50), son of deceased Kedai Sekh, Abdul Awal Sekh (60), Afsar Sekh (30), son of Abdul Awal Sekh, and Miru Sekh (35), son of Abdul Bakkar Sekh, of Baliakandi village of Sadar Union.

Masud Rana said, the defendants are fraudsters, extortionists, and land robbers. In 2018, I purchased 7 percent land near the house of defendant Aziz Sheikh, some distance from Wapda on Narua road. Ever since I bought the land, he tried to occupy my land illegally and harassed me in various ways. I have no intention of building a boundary wall to protect my land. Aziz Sikh exchanged a little land with me for his convenience. Cash is also taken for this. Later, when the foundation of my building was completed, he harassed me in various ways and demanded money again. But due to non-payment, suddenly on Monday afternoon, 4-5 people led by Aziz took my submersible pump and started breaking the boundary wall of the land. When I got the news and stopped them, they beat me severely and tried to kill me with Shabal, an iron rod. They threatened to kill me. Currently I am in fear of life.

When contacted, the accused Aziz Sikh said on the phone that there is a dispute over this land. A complaint was made in this regard to the police station before the last fasting month. Later the police station SI barek came and solved it. Masud Rana asks to remove the boundary of the land, he does not remove the boundary anymore. Today, when my 2 brothers (brother’s sons) went to move the boundary, Master Masud Rana tried to call people on his mobile. Later, when my two brothers gave him chess, he ran away. He was not beaten or extorted. My son is an engineer and my daughter is a master. We are not the kind of family that will ask anyone for money. Baliakandi police station officer in charge (OC). Asaduzzaman said, I have received a written complaint in this incident. SI Rajiv has been assigned to investigate the complaint. Legal action will be taken after the investigation.
