Chapainawabganj, the capital of mangoes, is going to launch “Mango Special Train” this year to facilitate the transport of mango farmers at low cost. Mango special train may start for the fourth time in the last week of this month. Chief Commercial Manager (CCM) of Western Railway, Sujit Kumar Biswas, said this after an exchange meeting with mango farmers, businessmen and media personnel of the district at Chapainawabganj railway station on Thursday morning.
In the discussion meeting, he demanded to start Mango Special Ten from May 20 of this month.Mango farmers, businessmen and local media workers. In view of this, the Chief Commercial Manager (CCM) of the Western Railway, Sujit Kumar Biswas, said that they have come to Chapainawabganj to get everyone’s opinion. In view of the various demands of the mango farmers and traders, the date of launch of the Mango Special Train will be decided subject to discussion with the higher authorities. But of course, the train will be launched after considering the demands of the local mango farmers.  Incidentally, he said that last year, the cost of sending each kg of mango by mango special train was 1 taka 31 paisa. Let’s hope it will be the same this time. In view of the demands of the locals, the number of coaches of the Mango Special train will be increased. He also said that leaflets and leaflets will be distributed in the market to the public to transport mangoes in the mango special train. Besides, various levels of railway officials and print and electronic media journalists were present in the exchange meeting along with Master Obaidullah of Chapainawabganj Railway Station.
