RAB-10 arrested 04 drug dealers from South Keraniganj area of Dhaka

Since its inception, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all types of criminals under the law to maintain the overall law and order situation in the country. RAB has been conducting regular operations against militants, terrorists, organized criminals, armed criminals, robbers and narcotics. RAB has continued its anti-narcotics campaign to eradicate drugs with the slogan “Let’s go to war, against drugs”. In continuation of this, yesterday on 08th May 2023, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Abdullahpur Bazar area under Dakshin Keraniganj police station of Dhaka district and seized 31 (thirty one) kg of ganja worth approximately Tk 9,30,000/- (nine lakh thirty thousand). John arrested the drug dealer. Name of arrested drug dealers 1. Md. Saddam Hossain (25), 2. Md. Razjikul Islam @ Rabbikul (19), 3. Sajeda Begum (50) and 4. It is known as Mosha: Rani Begum (34). Meanwhile, 02 mobile phones were recovered from them. Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons are professional drug dealers. They had been collecting ganja and other drugs from different parts of the country for quite some time and supplying them to the surrounding areas including South Keraniganj. A drug case has been registered against the arrested persons in the concerned police station.
