In a message posted on Telegram, Bogomaz said, “Unfortunately, two civilians were killed as a result of the attack by Ukrainian nationalists.” According to preliminary investigation, one residential building was completely destroyed and two other houses were partially damaged, he said. Emergency personnel are working at the scene. A cannon hit a residential building in Suzemka before the major attack, the governor said. This resulted in partial damage and one person was injured. Officials in eastern Ukraine also said Ukrainian shelling killed nine people, including an eight-year-old girl, in the city of Donetsk. However, Ukraine has never publicly claimed responsibility for the attacks inside Russia and in Russian-controlled areas of Ukraine such as Crimea. Before this, Russia launched a large-scale missile attack on various cities of Ukraine, including the capital, Kiev. 25 people including four children were killed in the attack on a building.
