 A post-Eid get-together and cultural program of former students was held in a colorful arrangement at Pir Kashimpur in Comilla. The students of 1997 batch organized this post-Eid reunion at Pir Kashimpur RN High School ground in Muradnagar of the district. Comilla-3 Muradnagar Constituency Member of Parliament Alhaj Yusuf Abdullah Haroon FCA was the chief guest. The program was inaugurated by former upazila chairman, heroic freedom fighter Pirzada Zahurul Alam Chishti. It was presided over by Saeed Shah VP, Convenor of Reunion Implementation Committee. Former upazila chairman Syed Abdul Kayoum Khosru, Muradnagar Upazila Awami League President Advocate Abul Kalam Azad, Koder Par Adarsh College Managing Committee President Dr. M. Samsuzzaman, Headmaster of Pir Kashimpur RN High School Mohammad Alauddin Bhuiyan, Former President of Pir Kashimpur Pravasi Kalyan Samiti Ziaul Haque Momen, Chief Accounts and Finance of Home Ministry Kazi Farrukh Ahmed, UP Chairman Shimul Billal Shimul. Golam Chamdani, a student of 97th batch gave the welcome speech. Muradnagar Upazila Awami League vice-president Kamal Uddin VP, Bangra Bazar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Riaz Uddin Chaudhuri, former UP chairman Abul Hashem, former UP chairman Babul Ahmed Mollah, advocate Ali Ashraf Taju, former student of the school Chuet, Dean Dr. . Kamrul Hasan, former meritorious student Ataur Rahman Chowdhury Apel, head of marketing of daily Alor Kamrul Hasan Babu, TV presenter Dr. Sahidul Islam, Machranga TV and Comilla Bureau Chief Jahangir Alam Imrul of daily newspaper Alor were present on the occasion. In the speech of the chief guest, Yusuf Abdullah Harun said that in the coming days, robots will work on earth. That’s why we have to prepare ourselves to build a smart Bangladesh in 2041 according to the vision of the Honorable Prime Minister. Later, the country’s star artists Palash and Laila performed music in a wonderful cultural evening.
