Forest areas will be protected with everyone -Environment Minister

Rangamati, March 11, Saturday: Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin said that the forest department is working to preserve forests and forest lands by uniting people of all religions, castes and ethnic groups in the country. Addressing the officials of the forest department, he said that they should work for the development of the country’s forest and forest land by performing their duties properly. The employees of the forest department should also work smartly and contribute to building a smart Bangladesh announced by the honorable Prime Minister. Environment Minister said these things in a function organized at Rangamati Circuit House on Friday evening. The forest minister said, we have to retain our own culture. We will move forward by keeping our culture. Where was our country, and where is the country now under the leadership of the honorable Prime Minister. This has been made possible by working in keeping with the country’s own culture and goals. He said that wherever we are, if we all work together to build the country, then it will become a developed and prosperous country in the near future. Chief Conservator of Forests Md. Amir Hossain Chowdhury, Rangamati Region Conservator of Forests Md. Mizanur Rahman, Additional District Magistrate of Rangamati District Administration Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud and Additional Deputy Commissioner Sarbik Md. Saiful Islam were present in the meeting.
