On 22/04/2025, at approximately 11.45 am, an operational team of RAB-10 conducted a raid in the Radhikhal Bazar area under Srinagar police station of Munshiganj district based on secret information. In the raid, 02 drug dealers were arrested along with 12 kg of marijuana worth approximately 3,60,000/- (three lakh sixty thousand) taka. The names of the arrested drug dealers are 1. Md. Bajlu Kazi (45), father- deceased Fazlur Rahman Kazi, and 2. Md. Roman Kazi (21), father- Md. Bajlu Kazi, both of whom are known to be from Madhya Baghra, Police Station- Srinagar, District- Munshiganj.
It is revealed that the arrested persons are professional drug dealers. They had been illegally collecting marijuana and other narcotics from various border areas of the country for some time and supplying them to various areas of the country, including Srinagar in Munshiganj.
A drug case has been registered against the arrested individuals and their transfer to the concerned police station is under process.
