Mirpur Road Blast: Six Burned ‘Not Suspicious’

The doctors said that the condition of six people who were injured in the explosion in the three-storey building near Sukanya Tower on Mirpur Road in Dhaka is ‘not suspicious’. Those six are admitted in Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. Besides, four more injured are admitted in Dhaka Medical College Hospital and two in Popular Medical College Hospital. The condition of two of them is also ‘not good’. At around 11:15 on Sunday, the explosion on the third floor of the three-story Shirin building caused partial collapse of the building’s wall, and another nearby building was damaged. Three people died in that incident. 30 to 40 injured people were taken to different hospitals immediately after the incident. Most of them are discharged with first aid.
