Md. Nur Islam Noyon, Dinajpur Correspondent : Central BNP International Secretary Rumin Farhana said, election evasion has begun, conspiracy has begun. The interim government sometimes says December and sometimes March for the election. This government has never held an election. Nor will it hold an election. She called for an election road map. She also said, a deep conspiracy has begun, they now want to stay for five years with the mandate of the July coup.
Rumin Farhana said, BNP is the most persecuted party, and despite the torture inflicted on uncompromising leaders Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman, BNP did not participate in the elections rigged by the Awami League government. She also said, BNP understands the pulse of the people and does people’s politics.
Rumin Farhana said these things at the 31-point and public harmony workshop announced by Tarique Rahman in Dinajpur. More than three hundred leaders and activists of Dinajpur District BNP and its affiliates participated in this workshop held at Najma Community Center in Dinajpur city on April 24, 2025.
Dinajpur District BNP President Mofazzal Hossain Dulal presided over the workshop, where Central BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku and Trainer Professor Dr. Muudud Hossain Pavel, Ed. Sharmin Farhana Putul and many others spoke. BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman spoke virtually as the chief guest in this workshop.
Leaders and activists from various upazilas of the district BNP and 11 organ units participated in the training workshop.
