People will not accept elections without trial of murderers and reforms of the country – Dr. Shafiqur Rahman in Lalmonirhat

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that two tasks must be completed before any election. One is trial of murderers, this must be visible; and the other is reforms of the country – the people of Bangladesh will not accept any election without these two.
He said this in his speech as the chief guest at a public meeting at the Collectorate Ground in Lalmonirhat this morning (April 19, Saturday).
Addressing the chief advisor, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, we want fair elections, we do not want to see elections with the influence of black money and muscle power. Therefore, a level playing field must be created for the elections. Demanding to live as neighbors with India on the basis of harmony, respect and equality, the Jamaat Ameer said,
If we are good, they will also be good.  If we take away our good, India will have to think about whether they will be good.
In his speech as the chief guest, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman also said that even though fascism has fallen, some bad politicians are still extorting and occupying. He also mentioned in his speech that if Jamaat comes to power, it will provide women with respect, security and work. He also called on Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami to come to power by promising to take various steps for the development of Lalmonirhat, including the implementation of the Teesta Master Plan.
