A meeting was held with journalists from print and electronic media on the occasion of the Jamaat workers’ conference in Laksam on April 18 at the initiative of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Laksam Upazila and Municipality Committee on the night of April 16 at the hall room of the Comilla Restaurant.
The meeting, chaired by Laksam Municipality Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Joynal Abedin Patwary and conducted by Laksam Upazila Jamaat Secretary Jobair Faisal, was attended by the chief guest, Comilla District Jamaat Secretary Dr. Syed AKM Sarwar Uddin Siddiqui.
The special guest was Advocate Badiul Alam Sujan, Public Prosecutor of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal of the Comilla Court. The speakers included Laksam Upazila Jamaat Ameer Hafez Maulana Zahirul Islam, Laksam Municipality Jamaat Secretary Muhammad Shahidullah, and others.
