A case has been registered at the police station in connection with the random stabbing of an SSC examinee named Fazle Rabbi (17) in Gabtoli, Bogra.
A written complaint has been filed. According to the complaint, Fazle Rabbi, son of Shafiqul Islam of Jaiguli Thakurchak village of Rameshwarpur union in Gabtali, is appearing for the SSC examination this time from Pirgachha High School. April 11, 2025. On his way home from Pirgachha Bazar after taking a private bus, when he reached near Ichamati Bridge in Rameshwarpur UP, 6/7 unknown drug addicts including Sultan and Tajel stabbed Fazle Rabbi indiscriminately in the face and both eyes and beat him severely with fists and sticks, seriously injuring him. Fazle Rabbi has been admitted to Gabtali Upazila Hospital in a critical condition. In this incident, Fazle Rabbi’s father has filed a written complaint with the police station accusing Sultan, son of deceased Khoka of Muchikhali village of Sonara union, and Tajel, son of deceased Rafiq, and 6/7 other unknown people.
ASI Afroza Khatun, the police officer on duty at the police station, said that I have received a written complaint regarding this. The matter is subject to investigation. Necessary legal action will be taken.
