Joint Convener of Municipal BNP and Convener of Arafat Rahman Koko Memorial Society Feni District Branch Md. Zahidul Alam held a human chain and rally to protest the attack on VP Zahid. District BNP Joint Convener Eyakub Nabi, District Bar Association President Advocate Abdus Sattar, former Joint Organizing Secretary of District Jubo Dal Nasir Imam Bhutto and former Convener of Sadar Upazila Chhatra Dal Engineer Delwar Hossain spoke at the human chain organized in front of Shaheed Minar in the city on Monday afternoon. During this time, the speakers strongly protested and condemned the attack on VP Zahid. The speakers sought the intervention of the local administration to arrest those involved in the attack on VP Zahid immediately and bring them under the law.
Incidentally, last night, miscreants attacked Md. Jahidul Alam Majumder, joint convener of the municipal BNP, on his way back to his home in the city’s Banani Para area.
