Moulvibazar Correspondent: A counter-press conference has been held on behalf of the expatriate family of Bangaon village, Ekatuna Union No. 6, Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila. Written statement on behalf of the victim expatriate family at the press conference organized at the Moulvibazar Online Press Club on Sunday afternoon, April 13. Md. Gilman Mia gave a written statement – Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila – Mouza: Bangaon, JL No. 95, SA Khatian No. 78, SA Dag No. 100/117, R,S Khatian No. 142/71/140, RS Dag No. 90 Dag 50 Setok (House) It is noteworthy that their father and two uncles lived in this dag 50 years ago, Abdul Bari Abdul Jabbar and Md. Suruj. As the Abdul Bari and Abdul Jabbar families grew up, they sold their ownership share to Suruj Mia and moved to another place to settle down. Suruj Mia gave money to their elder sister Khodeja Bhanu. And the two brothers and sisters bought a place in another place by taking money from her. Later, he went to London. He promised to register the place after returning from London. Abdul Bari registered his share in Parbati to Suruj Mia and mentioned that his younger brother also took the money but did not produce any documents. Later, Abdul Aziz’s father Abdul Jabbar died in London. In this situation, about 30 to 35 years passed. Suruj Mia and their sister also died. Muhid Mia and his sons and daughters built houses and boundaries on the purchased land. For the past few years, Abdul Aziz came to Bangladesh from London and started a new conspiracy with the help of a conspirator’s circle. As part of the conspiracy, he started harassing them by filing several false cases and attacks. Section 144 was issued by filing a case in the learned court. Aziz’s sister Safina Khanam filed a case in the learned court in the past-2024. Even then, his conspiracy case did not stop. He filed a false complaint against my sister’s sons at the police station. The police did not find the truth in the matter after conducting an on-site investigation into the matter. After this, Abdul Aziz became angry and more vengeful and filed a false case by creating fake witnesses. The two witnesses in the case gave a written undertaking that they were not aware of the matter. Abdul Aziz is a drug addict. He lives an addicted life. He last held a press conference on April 12 at the Moulvibazar Online Press Club to damage our reputation by making imaginary and false allegations. He also said – We are living peacefully in our home. We have been paying rent and bills as per the rules. Abdul Aziz has never lived in this house. He moved from their new house to London when he was young. He is so disgusting that my father is his own uncle. However, he mentioned in the press conference – his uncle in a bad relationship. There is a 144 in the learned court, but he did not mention that there are three more cases pending in the court regarding this. Despite the case in the learned court, he entered the house in the past-2024 and vandalized, looted and committed atrocities. He cut the gate of the house. He threatened to kill the caretaker of our house. He did not mention in the press conference – (Case No. 220/23 Sadar 276/24 Sadar 96/24 Sadar 144 Section 89/2025 Sadar RS 73 No. 05+06 = 11th century This place is owned by Muhid Mia, 6th century. And Khairun Nesa Khanam owns 5th century. Kawsar Mia, Gilman Mia, Aftar Mia and Jaber Mia have been living on the land in the said spot for many years. Aziz is also claiming ownership here. Several GDs have been filed against him at the police station by his family for security. Abdul Bari himself has deeded his land to us in his name, and in that deed, he himself has mentioned the money that his younger brother Abdul Jabbar took. Abdul Bari’s two sons went to the Bangladesh High Commission in London and took oath and said that their uncle took the money. What more proof is needed than this? He has hidden all these things and made false allegations. Abdul Aziz’s other expatriate brothers, nephews and their family members have not been able to come to Bangladesh for many years due to fear of false cases and attacks. He demanded exemplary punishment for the litigant Abdul Aziz. Present at the press conference were – Md. Aftar Mia, Lutfur Beg, Swapan Ahmed, Sohan Ahmed and Saidul Ahmed.
