The prize distribution ceremony of the Pirojpur Government Women’s College Annual Sports, Literary and Cultural Competition 2025 was held on April 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the college campus. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Pirojpur University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam was present as the chief guest and handed over the prizes to the winners of the competition.
In his speech as the chief guest, PBPRB Vice Chancellor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam said, students showcase their creativity through sports, literature and cultural competitions, get the opportunity to develop their latent talents, increase their self-confidence and develop a sense of respect for each other. Literary and cultural competitions capture our history and tradition. The real picture of our society emerges through these events.
The PBPRB Vice Chancellor also said, “Today’s students are the future of tomorrow. You will lead the country and the nation. Leadership qualities will be developed through these programs.” He urged the students to actively participate in sports and other co-curricular activities along with their studies.
At this time, he advised people to stay away from the social media and be health conscious. He sought the full cooperation of the people of Pirojpur to develop Pirojpur University of Science and Technology as a complete and world-class institution.
The Vice Chancellor of PBPRB sincerely thanked the Pirojpur Government Women’s College authorities for playing a pioneering role in women’s education and urged them to continue this trend in the future.
