A total of 1,82,410 candidates will take part in the 2025 SSC examination under the Dinajpur Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. Out of these, 92,670 are male and 89,740 are female.
This information has been given in a notification signed by the Education Board’s Examination Controller Professor Mir Sajjad Ali.
The notification mentions that among the candidates, 97,708 are in the science department, 82,385 are in the humanities department and 317 are in the business education department. Among the participants in the examination, 1,49,643 are regular candidates, 32,443 are irregular candidates and 324 are GPA development candidates. Among the irregular and GPA development candidates, 18,753 will participate in one subject, 7,680 in two subjects, 2,419 in three subjects, 710 in four subjects and 2,874 in all subjects. The exam will be held in 280 centers in 8 districts of Rangpur division. The number of candidates on the basis of districts is as follows: Rangpur 32,985 in 51 centers, Gaibandha 25,303 in 40 centers, Nilphamari 21,121 in 27 centers, Kurigram 20,534 in 34 centers, Lalmonirhat 13,855 in 20 centers, Dinajpur 38,132 in 62 centers, Thakurgaon 17,984 in 24 centers, Panchagarh 12,496 in 22 centers,
Examination Controller Professor Mir Sajjad Ali said that all preparations have been completed to conduct the examination in a fair and peaceful environment.
