A rally and scout day camp were held on the occasion of Bangladesh Scout Day under the theme ‘Courageous and Responsible Generation of the Future’ by the initiative of Cox’s Bazar District Scouts. The rally started from the Deputy Commissioner’s office premises on Tuesday and circled various important roads including the main road of the city.
After the rally, the Scout Day Camp organized at the Baitush Sharaf Jabbaria Academy premises was presided over by District Scout President Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin. In his speech, the Deputy Commissioner said, ‘Scouting is playing an important role in building a smart Bangladesh. Besides, students’ talent and skills are developed if they are involved in scout activities. He also suggested forming 100% scout and rover scout teams in every educational institution. At that time, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Nilufa Yasmin Chowdhury, District Scout Commissioner ANM Shahid Uddin Choton, District Scout Secretary Ansarul Karim and Scout Leader Faridul Alam, along with the district upazila’s scout and rover scout members were present.
