A joint progress review and planning meeting was held under the theme “Building a Bangladesh of Peace and Harmony, Not Conflict” organized by the Multi-Stakeholder Initiative for Peace and Stability (MIPS) and the Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) Laksam Unit, an affiliate organization of the Dihangar Project.
On the evening of April 7 (Monday), at the VIP hall of Laksam Sky Lounge Restaurant, the event was moderated by Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) Laksam Unit Coordinator Zafar Ahmed and chaired by PFG Peace Ambassador Sirajul Haque. The following spoke at the event: PFG Laksam Unit Peace Ambassador Advocate Bikash Chandra Saha, PFG member and municipal BNP leader Abul Hossain Milon, journalists Arifur Rahman Swapan, Selim Chowdhury Hira, Afratul Karim Rimu, Shahidul Islam, General Secretary of the Corruption Prevention Committee Aurangzeb Khan Rubel, lecturers Ahsan Habib, Khorshed Alam Biplob, Yunus Majumdar.
With the overall support of Dihangar Project Regional Coordinator Russell Ahmed and Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) Regional Coordinator Khodeja Begum, the event was attended by Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) Laksam Unit members Ratan Lal Das, Mamun Hossain, Nurun Nabi Mohsin, Taslima Akhter, Nasima Akhter, Rashida Begum, Nazneen Akhter Nipa, Kamrul Hasan, Khabir Uddin Kiran, Uttam Saha Bachchu, Rekha Begum, etc.
Several plans were made for future implementation at the event, and it was decided that the activities would begin within a few days.
