Sports Desk: Cricketer Mehidy Hasan Miraz, women’s footballer Ritu Porna Chakma, and archer Sagor Islam have been shortlisted for the Kool-BASPA Sports Awards 2024.
In addition, for the Popular Choice Award 2024, the shortlist includes cricketers Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nahid Rana, alongside SAFF-winning women’s football team member Ritu Porna Chakma.
The winners in both categories will be announced on April 11 at a ceremony in a hotel in the capital. The event will have Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Adviser for Youth and Sports, and Anjan Chowdhury, Managing Director of Square Toiletries, as Guests of Honor.
These details were shared today at a press conference held at the auditorium of the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) by BASPA President Rezwan Uz Zaman Rajib.
Also present were Square Toiletries Ltd. GM of Marketing Dr. Jesmin Zaman, BASPA General Secretary Md. Samon Hossain, Chairman of the Athlete Evaluation Committee Parag Arman, and Member Secretary Mahbub Sarkar.
