Goaland Ghat Police have arrested a person named Md. Azgar Ali (42) with domestically made liquor from Daulatdia brothel in Goaland Upazila of Rajbari.
Goaland Ghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Rakibul Islam confirmed the matter in a press release on Thursday (April 3) afternoon.
Arrested – Md. Azgar Ali is the son of Jamat Ali Sardar of Chakkakrishnapur Kayem Khola village of Shahjad Pur police station in Sirajganj district.
According to the police station, based on a secret information, SI (Retd) Md. Mahabul Karim along with his officers and forces conducted a raid from the sitting room on the west side of Zia Sardar’s house in Daulatdia Patita Palli at around 11:45 pm yesterday and arrested the accused along with 27 (twenty-seven) liters of country-made liquor.
Goaland Ghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Rakibul Islam said that a case was filed against the arrested person under the Narcotics Control Act at the police station and he was sent to the Rajbari Magistrate’s Court today .
