The Barura Upazila administration stood by the four families affected by the fire in Manduk village of Adra Union in Comilla’s Barura Upazila.
On Wednesday, March 19, three blankets, 30 kg of rice, and 5,000 taka were distributed to four families affected by the fire in Manduk village of Adra Union of the upazila by Upazila Executive Officer Nu-Mong Marma Mong on behalf of the Barura Upazila administration.
Upazila Deputy Assistant Project Implementation Officer KM Mostafizur Rahman, Adra Union Parishad Chairman Rakibul Hasan Limon, and Barura Upazila Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Liton Pandit were present at the time.
The Barura Upazila Executive Officer said that some food items and money have been provided to the affected families, and the Disaster and Management Department will soon provide overall assistance for the construction of houses and houses. In addition, the Adra Union Parishad will provide a total of 40,000 taka to each family. It is worth noting that on March 18, nine houses, including the kitchen, were burnt down due to an electrical short circuit in the living rooms of four families. Upon receiving the news of the fire, the Barura Fire Service Civil Defense Station unit arrived on the scene and was able to bring the fire under control with the help of the locals.
