Jamaat-e-Islami helps rebuild shop burnt down in fire accident at Chowrhas, Kushtia

Md. Habibur Rahman:  Today, Monday, March 10, 2025, five shops were burnt to ashes in a fire at the Chaudhas intersection in Kushtia city in the early hours of the morning. The affected shopkeepers lost everything from their business and were mentally devastated. After Fajr, Professor Farhad Hussain, a member of the Central Shura of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, came to inspect the scene and meet the victims. During the meeting with the victims, he assured cooperation on behalf of Jamaat. Then at 2 pm, the leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Kushtia met the victims again under the leadership of Professor Farhad Hussain. They provided financial assistance to the victims so that the victims can initially build shops and purchase products and start their business again from tomorrow, Tuesday, and share the joy of Eid with their families.
Also present at the event were Kushtia Jamaat District Secretary Professor Sujauddin Joarder, Assistant Secretary Khairul Islam Robin, Kushtia Jamaat City Ameer Enamul Haque, Kushtia Workers Welfare Federation President SM Mohsin Ali and local leaders and activists.
