The District Mohila Dal has organized a human chain and protest march in Dinajpur to protest the rape of women and children across the country, including an 8-year-old child in Magura. The human chain program was held in front of the Nimtola Press Club in Dinajpur city on Monday (March 10, 2025) from 11 am to 12 noon. More than 500 leaders and activists of the District Mohila Dal participated in the human chain.
Dinajpur District BNP President Advocate Mofazzal Hossain Dulal, District Mohila Dal General Secretary and former Dinajpur Municipality Councilor Shaheen Sultana Duty spoke at the human chain.
At that time, Jala BNP President Advocate Tofazzal Hossain Dulal demanded the hanging of the rapists and said that exemplary punishment should be provided to rapists across the country, including Magura. If they are not punished, the rapists will become more reckless. They should be punished in such a way that others become cautious.
Mahila Dal General Secretary Shahin Sultana Beauty said that rapists have become reckless today because rapists and torturers were not given proper justice in the past. If rapists are not given proper justice, a strict movement will be launched. Therefore, she demanded that the interim government immediately bring to justice the rapists and torturers.
After the human chain, a huge procession was taken out from in front of the Nimtala Press Club and after parading various roads of the city, it ended at the district BNP office on Jail Road.
