Joypurhat Correspondent:
Unemployed diploma doctors and MATS students held a press conference in Joypurhat against the failure to implement any of their demands despite the promises made by the Ministry of Health, the lies made by some graduate doctors and medical students about the MATS curriculum and the four points, and the contempt of court statements made about pending cases.

The press conference was held at the Joypurhat Press Club auditorium on Wednesday (March 5) afternoon under the banner of Bangladesh Diploma Medical Association, unemployed diploma doctors and general MATS students.

Mahmudul Hasan, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Diploma Medical Association District Branch, read out a written statement.

Among others who spoke at the event were Abdul Halim Mandal, advisor to the organization’s district branch, President Abdul Hakim, and Organizing Secretary Mashiur Rahman.

At the press conference, speakers protested against the implementation of the four-point demands, as well as the contemptuous statements made by some graduate doctors and medical students regarding the MATS curriculum and the four-point issues, including the sub judice issues.
