A seminar on the use of organic cosmetics was held at the conference room of the Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 12.45 pm.
The chief guest of the seminar was Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur. The Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mr. Mohammad Noor-e-Alam presided over the seminar. Md. Riaz Uddin, Deputy Director, Local Government, Dinajpur, was present at the seminar.
The event was organized by Md. Ehsanul Enam Sarkar, Managing Director, Spadan Toiletries and Cosmetics, Rajarampur, Dinajpur. Md. Jahidul Islam, Deputy General Manager (BSCIC) Mr. Matiur Rahman, Editor of (Daily Uttar Bangla) newspaper published from Dinajpur. and representatives of BSTI and Department of Environment.
In the chairman’s speech, Additional Deputy Commissioner Noor-e-Alam said, “Organic products have bright potential, which can be further expanded with technology-based management. Through this, not only the problem of unemployment will be eliminated, but the path to social progress will also be smooth.” He thanked the organizers and emphasized on further research and development in the innovation of organic products.
The participants of the program discussed the quality of organic cosmetic products, their uses and environment-friendly features. Entrepreneurs were welcomed and urged to play a role in the economic development of the district.
