Yusuf Chowdhury-Rajshahi: Skills Competition was held at Rajshahi Government Survey Institute. The competition was held on Thursday (February 27) at the institute premises under the Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation (ASET) project. Students participated in different stalls with various innovative ideas, building designs, logo designs, etc. At the beginning of the program, the competition was declared open by blowing up balloons and inspecting the stalls. Later, the jury selected the best innovative project. Executive Engineer of the Department of Education Engineering Abu Said was present as the chief guest at the program. BSTI Inspecting Officer (CM) Engineer Junayd Ahmed, Manager of Paschimchanchal Gas Company Limited Proco. Md. Barkat Hossain Mollah and Deputy Project Director of the Asset Project Proco. BM Shariful Islam. Rajshahi Government Survey Institute Principal Md. Amirul Islam presided over the program. The program was conducted by Rajshahi Government Survey Institute Chief Instructor (Tech/Construction) and Department Head (Cadastral Technology) Prof. Md. Abdullah His Safi and Chief Instructor (Tech/Civil) and Department Head (Survey Technology) Md. Harun Or Rashid. In their speeches, the guests urged the students to improve their skills and become entrepreneurs instead of chasing jobs.
