The 58th annual sports competition and prize distribution was held at Champaknagar Model School, an ancient educational institution in Bijoynagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria.
In the two-day anniversary sports competition and award ceremony held on February 26 and 27, the school’s students participated in 18 games, as well as multiple displays, songs, and casual dress-up competitions.
Bijoynagar Upazila BNP President Md. Jamir Hossain Dastagir was present as the chief guest, under the chairmanship of Md. Shafiqul Islam Chowdhury, President of Champaknagar Model School, and moderated by the school’s assistant teacher Shamim Ahmed.
Special guests included President of Champaknagar College Md. Mahmud Hossain Bhuiyan, Assistant Professor of Chinair College Mir Ali Azam, Assistant Professor of Champaknagar College Md. Lutful Rahman Chowdhury, Former President of Champaknagar Union BNP Md. Yasin Chowdhury, Former President of Champaknagar Model School Md. Shahidul Haque Chowdhury, General Secretary of Champaknagar Union BNP Bachchu Mia, Distinguished Social Worker Amir Khan, President of Bijoynagar Upazila Press Club S. M. Kamrul Hasan Shanto, Senior Journalist Md. Harun Or Rashid, along with guardians of the students.
After the brief discussion, the guests distributed the prizes of the annual sports competition. The program was successfully completed under the leadership of the teachers of Champaknagar Model School, led by Acting Headmaster Md. Zahirul Islam and Assistant Headmaster Md. Mostafa Kamal Chowdhury.
