Special Correspondent: On the occasion of the 31st founding anniversary of the Daily Gosona, a representative conference and exchange of greetings was organized on Tuesday, February 25 at 10 am at the 3rd floor, Abdus Salam Hall of the National Press Club. The event was presided over by the Editor and Publisher of the Daily Gososna, Md. Sahidur Rahman Tepa, and the Chief Executive Editor of the newspaper, S.M. Zahirul Islam, delivered a welcome speech. Virtual speeches were given by the Editor-in-Chief Naznin Sultana, Managing Editor Nawajis Tahnun Chandan, Assistant Editor, Dr. Shariful Haque Priyam. Among others, the event was attended by the Editor and Publisher of the Daily Swadesh Bichitra, Ashok Dhar, Chief Public Relations Officer of the Probashi Palli Group, Sikder Md. Ariful Alam, Head of News of the Daily Muktakhabar, Mohsin Ahmed Swapan, Chairman of the Bangladesh National Human Rights Association, Md. Manjur Hossain Isha. Hridoy Motors Managing Director Hridoy Chowdhury, prominent media personality Dr. Nayan Patwari, special correspondent Md. Rezaul Islam, Md. Sahidul Islam, staff reporter Munni Akhter, Gangachara correspondent Rabindranath Sarkar, Barguna district correspondent Nayan, Mathbaria upazila correspondent Al Mamun, etc., Associate Editor Shafiur Rahman Kazi recited the Holy Quran, and Md. Farukul Islam moderated the program. In his speech, the president Md. Sahidur Rahman Tepa said that the daily announcement will be a reader-friendly newspaper. He will always be by the side of the journalists in providing overall cooperation for the development of the newspaper and in case of unnecessary harassment of journalists, and those who do good work with efficiency will be honored through a large-scale program next year on the anniversary. On the occasion of the 31st founding anniversary of the Daily Dehlangan, journalists from various districts including Dehlangan family, Rural Journalist Foundation (RJF) and Bangladesh Kabi Parishad presented floral greetings to the editor. In the second part of the program, 15 journalists associated with the Daily Dehlangan were awarded the Best of the Year award. The awardees were Special Correspondent Md. Rezaul Islam, Sylhet District Correspondent Ismail Khan Niaz, Special Correspondent Md. Sahidul Islam, Muladi Upazila Correspondent Md. Atiqur Rahman Miron, Associate Editor Md. Shafiur Rahman Kazi, Staff Reporter Munni Akhter, Monirampur Upazila Correspondent Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Travelling Correspondent Md. Salah Uddin Ayubi, Head of IT Md. Ripon Ali, Assistant of IT S M. Mahir Al Mahbub, Staff Reporter Md. Harunur Rashid Mia, Staff Reporter Kazi Ayesha Akhter Sorna, Staff Reporter Azijun Nahar. The program ended with cake cutting in the 3rd episode.
