Keeping in mind the slogan “Sports enhance the ball, quit drugs and play”, the Anti-drug Promila Preeti Football Match-2025 was held in Dinajpur on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Shaheed Boro Ground in Dinajpur Gor in the afternoon.
The event was officially inaugurated by the president of the program, Additional District Magistrate Md. Jane Alam, at 4:30 pm. In the 1-hour game of 30 minutes, Eidgah Girls’ High School scored 2 goals and Nausheen Football Academy scored 1 goal, and Eidgah Girls’ High School won by 1-2 goals.
During the award ceremony, the chief guest of the event, Dinajpur District Commissioner Md. Rafiqul Islam, handed over the trophies to the Pramila football players. Other guests present included Md. Akram Hossain, District Sports Officer of Dinajpur District Sports Office, and Mohammad Shahidul Mannaf Kabir, Deputy Director of the Narcotics Control Department, Dinajpur District Office.
