The goal of implementing the 31 points declared by BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman on Saturday (February 22) afternoon at the initiative of Bauphal Upazila and Municipal BNP (Part) in a public meeting organized at Bauphal public ground under the chairmanship of Central Freedom Fighters Party Vice President and Wartime Commander Alhaj SA Jalil Hiru Mia. Former senior vice president of Patuakhali District BNP and former president of Bauphal Upazila BNP, industrialist Alhaj Engineer AKM Farooq Ahmed Talukder, member of the National Executive Committee of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP, spoke as the chief guest.
In the speech of the chief guest, BNP’s central leader Enginyar AKM Farooq Ahmed Talukder said that BNP should forget all differences to strengthen the hand of Tariq Rahman.
Among others, former BNP party member Patuakhali-2 Alhaj Dr. Yakub Ali Sharif, former upazila BNP Acting General Secretary and Convener of Jansabha Implementation Committee Humayun Kabir, Upazila BNP Joint Convenor and Central Shaheed Zia Research Council President Md. Anichur Rahman Anich, Upazila BNP former Organizing Secretary Olyar Rahman, Upazila Sramik Dal Convenor Hasan Manju, Joint General Secretary of Municipal BNP Haji Palash, former Convener of Upazila Student Party Mujahidul Islam etc.
Thousands of leaders, workers and supporters of various unions and municipal BNP of the upazila participated in this rally. The speakers called upon all the present leaders, workers and supporters to work in village to village, neighborhood to neighborhood for the implementation of the 31 points announced by the patriot Tariq Rahman.
