Singerbil Union BNP and its affiliated organizations have held a press conference to protest against the attack of Awami Jubo League leader and the torture of the Sheikh family in Brahmanbaria University and court premises on the organizing secretary of Singerbil Union BNP of Brahmanbaria Bijoynagar Upazila.
Accused Jubo League leader Sheikh Selim is joint general secretary of Singerbil Union Jubo League of Bijoynagar Upazila.
The press conference was held on February 18 (Tuesday) at 10 am at Kanchanpur intersection of Singerbil Union of the Upazila.
The press conference was attended by former expatriate welfare secretary of district BNP Md. Nurul Huda Sarkar, Upazila BNP general secretary Ad. Imam Hossain, former joint convener of Upazila Jubodal Md. Dilip Mia, Upazila Sechsevak Dal convener Syed Khokon, senior joint convener Nasir Uddin, Upazila Sramik Dal member secretary Abul Kashem Bhuiyan, Singerbil Union BNP president Rehan Uddin Bhuiyan, general secretary Sajal Miah, organizing secretary of Union Jubo Dal Robin Miah, president of Union Chhatra Dal Sajib Bhuiyan and others.
The speakers condemned the attack on the BNP leader and demanded the arrest of Jubo League leader Sheikh Selim.
