One of the roadmaps for building a self-reliant country is Tarique Rahman’s 31 points. Modern Bangladesh can be built by implementing the 31 points across the country. As part of the implementation of the 31 points, a preparatory meeting of the Upazila BNP was held at the Laksam BNP office on February 14 at 3 pm on the occasion of the rally of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in Laksam, Comilla on February 20.
Laksam Upazila BNP Member Secretary Abdur Rahman Badal presided over the event, which was ably moderated by Laksam Upazila BNP Joint Convener Shah Alam, with Abul Kalam, the Industrial Affairs Secretary of the Central BNP, as the chief guest.
He called on leaders and activists from all walks of life to make Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir’s public rally on February 20 a success, saying that the party and the country will move forward under the charismatic leadership of Tarique Rahman.
Tarique Rahman’s 31-point plan is a milestone. If the 31-point plan is implemented, the country will become a democratic, God-fearing, poverty-free, self-reliant Bangladesh. If any leader or activist disobeys the party’s decisions and instructions and is involved in any activity against the public interest, he has no right to form a party.
The preparatory meeting was attended by Laksam Upazila BNP Senior Joint Convener Dr. Nuruullah Raihan, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Mosharraf Hossain Moshu, and leaders of Upazila BNP and its affiliates.
