Sports Desk: This year’s champion in Prime Bank National School Cricket in Narayanganj district is Nurul Haque High School.
Nurul Haque High School won the title by defeating Narayanganj Bar Academy by 7 wickets in the final game held at Narayanganj District Cricket Ground on Tuesday (February 11).
It should be noted that at the beginning of the tournament, Nurul Haque High School surprised everyone by defeating the strong Narayanganj High School and College by 10 wickets. Then in the second match they defeated Adarsho School by a big margin of 8 wickets and reached the semi-finals.
In the semi-final they secured a place in the final with a brilliant 9-wicket win against Ganabidya Nakiten High School.
In the final, Narayanganj Bar Academy faced Nurul Haque High School, Pubergaon, Rupganj. Nurul Haque won the toss and decided to bowl. In the beginning, the bowlers of the team showed great performance and took 10 wickets of the opponent for just 45 runs.
Batting for an easy target, they lost by 3 wickets and secured their victory by 7 wickets and claimed the glory of being the best team and champion of the district.
Nurul Haque High School is now the pride of Narayanganj
