The 2-day SAE Cup Badminton Tournament 2025 was held on 09 and 10 February 2025 at the Pirojpur Public Works Department premises. After a fierce battle in each match of this ten-team tournament, the team of Yusuf Ali and Abul Ehsan won the glory of becoming the champion. Raisul Islam and Sohel were the runners-up in the said tournament, while the team of Rakib and Emon won the third place in the said tournament.
Abul Ehsan was selected as the Player of the Tournament, while Naveen was selected as the Emerging Player of the Tournament.
Md. Khairuzzaman Sabuj, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Pirojpur, was the chief guest at the tournament and distributed prizes among the players. Also present at the event were Md. Fahim Ahmed, Sub-Divisional Engineer (Civil), Md. Rakib Hossain, Sub-Divisional Engineer (E/M), Public Works Department Pirojpur, Md. Nuruzzaman Biswas, Deputy Assistant Engineer, Aniruddha Mondal, Deputy Assistant Engineer, Md. Yusuf Ali, Deputy Assistant Engineer, Md. Raisul Islam, Deputy Assistant Engineer, Papon Karmakar, and others.
Speaking as the chief guest, Khairuzzaman Sabuj said, “We have always been organizing such events to keep the current youth free from drugs, and we will continue to hold such tournaments and various social activities in the future as well.
