Fascist Hasina’s ally expatriate secretary is desperate to achieve the interests of neighboring countries. Bayra leaders at the exchange meeting

Fascist Hasina’s ally expatriate secretary Md. Ruhul Amin is desperate to achieve the interests of neighboring countries by introducing the rule of single visa verification for Saudi-bound workers to destroy the manpower export market. This will start a downward trend in manpower export. The anti-immigration conspiracy of the so-called NGOs that are beneficiaries of neighboring countries will not be accepted. Due to the lengthy labor market immigration process, sending female workers to various countries in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, has almost stopped. Urgent initiatives must be taken to facilitate the rapid sending of female workers to all labor markets. The unethical classification of recruiting agencies must be stopped. The obligation to send 200 workers abroad to renew the license of recruiting agencies should be stopped. Up to 24 (maximum 25) visas from Saudi Arabia should be issued as a single exit permit without embassy attestation.

The leaders said that if workers from India and Nepal go abroad, attestation is not required. The embassy attestation system should be abolished to stop harassment of workers going abroad. The sections of the law that are against the interests of workers going abroad and recruiting agencies should be amended. If the allegations filed against the agencies are proven false, legal action should be taken against them.

The leaders said these things at a view-sharing meeting on various obstacles to manpower export at the Diploma Engineers Institution auditorium in Kakrail on Wednesday night, initiated by the leaders of the Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (BAIRA).

Chaired by former Secretary General of BAIRA Kazi Mofizur Rahman and moderated by Md. Mohiuddin and Arifur Rahman, the meeting was attended by, among others, former MP Ataur Rahman Khan Angur, former Senior Vice President of BAIRA Shafiqur Alam Firoz, former Vice President of BAIRA Mohammad Abul Barakat Bhuiyan, former President of ATAB Mansur Ahmed Kalam, KM Mubarak Ullah Shimul, Mahfuzur Rahman, Kafil Uddin Majumder, M Tipu Sultan and Md. Atiqur Rahman Biswas.

At the meeting, BAIRA leaders said that the manpower export business is considered the main driving force of Bangladesh. The largest source of foreign exchange for Bangladesh comes from this sector. However, while other countries make it easier every day to export manpower in one sector, the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare, BMET and the embassy are making it difficult. The behavior of the government’s ministries, departments and embassies towards recruiting agencies is much like that of a criminal and a judge. Where recruiting agencies have no self-defense mechanism. Therefore, we are drawing the attention of the advisor to the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment to make sending manpower easier and smoother. The other demands of the recruiting

agency are to resolve the complications regarding the employment permission of attested demand; to simplify and speed up the attestation of demand by the embassy; not to take punitive action against recruiting agencies before the crime is finally proven; to abolish the syndicate system of sending workers to Malaysia; to stop the misuse of the Human Trafficking Act; to introduce provisions for taking punitive action against workers who make false complaints; to take strict action against air ticket syndicates and black marketers and to introduce labor fairs and to counter the scheming behavior of BMET and ministry officials.

The leaders said that the verification of Saudi group visas for more than 25 people and the exit clearance from BMET must be issued within three days.
