The slogan of ‘Fearless in the Search for Truth’ is the path of Jugantor, a newspaper created by the dream charioteer Prayat Nurul Islam, which beats the hearts of millions of people. The editor of the newspaper did not bow down to injustice.
The discussion meeting was held today, Wednesday, with various programs. The program included recitation of the Holy Quran, cake cutting, discussion meeting and special prayers for the forgiveness of the soul of the founder of Jugantor, Prayat Nurul Islam.
The discussion meeting at the Amtali Journalists Union office was presided over by Jugantor Swajan Sambal member Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee President BSS District Representative AKM Khairul Bashar Bulbul.
The chief guest was the acting convener of the Upazila BNP, Md. Zahirul Islam Mamun VP. The special guests were the convener of the Municipal BNP, Md. Kabir Uddin Fakir, the executive director of the non-governmental development organization NSS, the former president of the Press Club, Advocate Shahabuddin Panna, and the principal of Bakulnesa Women’s Degree College, Mosha Ferdousi Akhter. The meeting, moderated by Md. Jasim Uddin Sikder, staff reporter of the Daily Jugantor newspaper, was addressed by Amtoli Press Club President Md.
