Free medical camp for underprivileged women and children in Daulatdia

A day-long free medical camp was held to provide healthcare to underprivileged mothers and children at the Daulatdia brothel in Goalanda Upazila of Rajbari, the country’s largest brothel.
The event was organized by the Mukti Mahila Camp, a private organization located next to the brothel, from 11 am to 4 pm on Tuesday (February 4).
Organized by Mukti Mohila Samity, 100 underprivileged women and 100 children from Daulatdia brothel were provided medical services and medicines by specialist doctors under the Child Protection Project initiated by the community’s Moyna Group in collaboration with Upazila Health Complex Goalanda, Tere Des Homes TDH and B71 Diagnostic Center Faridpur.
Goalanda Upazila Resident Health Officer Dr. Shariful Islam, Dermatologist and Venereologist Dr. Jyotish Chandra Mondal, Assistant Dental Surgeon Goalanda Nur Alam Sajal, Nursing Supervisor Mridala Biswas, etc. provided healthcare at the camp.
