The wife and 4 family members of Touhidul Islam, the leader of the Jubo Dal of Panchthubi Union in Comilla Sadar, met with Major General Abul Hasnat Mohammad Tariq, GOC of the 33 Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army, in his office on Monday night.
At this time, the GOC expressed his condolences over the death of Touhidul Islam and assured the family of the deceased that the investigation court proceedings are already underway in this matter and the guilty will be brought to justice quickly. He also said that the army will always be by his side and will provide all kinds of support for the future security of Touhid’s family and children.
Touhidul Islam’s wife and family have been assured of this. They also demanded that those who made false allegations in the army camp through fraud be brought to justice. However, they said they have made all preparations to file a case in the wake of Touhid’s death.
