Juri (Moulvibazar) Correspondent:

Moulvibazar  Juri in an allegation has been received that his cousin Gang has suddenly seized and forcibly occupied his land through forged documents and attacked him with the intention of killing him.
On Tuesday (January 28) morning, Rubel Ahmed, son of the late Abdul Bari of Bardhamai village in Purba Juri union of the upazila, made the complaint at a press conference organized at the Juri Upazila Press Club office.
In a written statement, he said – My grandfather, the late Usman Ali, has three children, Abdul Gani, Abdul Latif and Abdul Bari. Usman Ali has 7.38 acres of land in Bardhamai mouza and 14.17 acres of land in Shilghat Tea State mouza. According to the inheritance law, Abdul Gani, Abdul Latif and Abdul Bari are partners in the said land. Moreover, 20.27 acres of land was purchased in the name of the three brothers in Shilghat T State Mouza. My father Abdul Bari owns one-third of the said land.
During the RS survey, my father fell ill and lost his speech and memory. I was young then, I had no idea about land. On that occasion, my cousins Abdul Matin and Abdul Hai took all the land documents by threatening my mother and sisters. Later, I found out from the records that only 5.39 acres of land in the two Mouzas were recorded in the name of my father Abdul Bari. The remaining 9 acres of land of my father’s share were recorded in the names of the heirs of my uncles Abdul Gani and Abdul Latif. Although there is no division of the entire land and no boundary has been determined, Abdul Matin and Abdul Hai are trying to forcibly occupy all the convenient places. In the said Khatian (Bardhamai Mouja), he has verbally transferred and equally distributed the part of Ang Gani in the name of Ang Latif and Ang Bari, and in return he has taken his share of land from another Mouja, Dhamai Estate. The RS 661 plot has been converted into a communication value of 33 hundredths of land about 2 km away from Ang Bari’s house, which is not a house, it is basically a hillock.
Abdul Matin, Abdul Hai and his son Abu Sufian have been torturing us at different times. In the past, when I came to cut trees and bamboos in my house, I stopped them. They got angry and attacked me with indigenous weapons with the intention of killing me. In the meantime, I have applied to the District Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, AC Land and OC for a remedy, equal distribution of the Maurashi land and security, but I have not received any remedy.
I want a fair share and security through the division of property, and I want to live with my family.
