During the BPL, the Youth Festival-2025 is being celebrated nationwide with the theme “Come, let’s change the country, let’s change the world”.
On Wednesday, January 15, on this occasion, an inter-school debate competition was held in Barura Upazila at the initiative of the Upazila Administration and the Public Health Engineering Department. Barura Government Girls High School emerged as the champion in the said event. The champion team will later participate in the district-level debate competition.
Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Nu Among Marma Mong was present as the chief guest at the event.
Upazila Public Health Engineer Nur Mohammad Shamim was present as the moderator and judge at the event, while Upazila Fisheries Officer Suraiya Zaman and Upazila Rural Development Officer Nazmul Hasan were present as judges.
Later, the champions and runners-up were awarded prizes and the champion team was given a victory crest.
