A new building has been officially inaugurated in Chapainawabganj to expand the scope of medical services for asthma patients.
On Monday (January 13) morning, Deputy Commissioner Abdus Samad delivered the chief guest speech at the inauguration ceremony of the new building of Chapainawabganj Asthma Center at Upazila Muktijoddha Complex at Shantir More in the district town.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Anwar Zahid Ruben, Chairman of Chapainawabganj Asthma Foundation and Chapainawabganj Asthma Center. At this time, Deputy Director of Chapainawabganj Local Government (Deputy Secretary) Debendranath Urao, Assistant Executive Magistrate to the Deputy Commissioner Anuj Chanda, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Tashmina Khatun, Managing Director of Adarsh ​​Group Sadiqul Islam, Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Ismail Hossain and others were present as special guests. Also present were prominent businessman Raihanul Islam Luna, Finance Secretary of Ajma Foundation Russell Ahmed Hira. At the beginning, General Secretary of Chapainawabganj Ajma Foundation and Managing Director of Ajma Center Shahadat Hossain Mamun delivered the welcome speech.
According to relevant sources, the Asthma Foundation, formed to provide services to asthma patients in the district, has been providing medical services at the Asthma Center since 2016. The new building has been officially inaugurated to expand the scope of services.
