Going there, it seems like a green land made of greenery. In reality, now it is a green area, but just a few years ago it was a gray land of sand and would be submerged in the tide. There were quite a few birds in
Gulisakhali, Arpangashia, Haldia, Amtali Sadar Unions of Amtali Upazila. Today, birds are losing their identity with the evolution of time.
These places were as if they were a sanctuary for birds.

On the other hand, a green land surrounded by trees is covered with the nesting of pigeons in Amtali. Where there is a green area. Here was one of the places for fishermen to catch fish. This sanctuary was a special place as a refuge for extinct animals. Among the local residents here are the fisher, cranes and duck-like birds. With the arrival of winter, this refuge is filled with the chirping of foreign birds.

Taltali Thana flows past Amtali Upazila. Once Taltali was an internal area of Amtali Upazila. After Amtali Taltali Thana was divided, the communication system decreased. Even though the communication system decreased, most of the visitors still have to go to Taltali via Amtali. In short, Taltali is called a small tourist center for those who are thirsty for travel. And when visitors from far and wide go there, they are entertained by the calls of birds in the agricultural fields. The main livelihood of the people of Taltali Char area is fishing. Most of the people are more or less involved in this profession, even if they are a little poor. And this profession is their main source of livelihood.

Birds are disappearing from all the places in the Upazila
The arrival of guest birds in the green char area of Gulishakhali has started, but today it is losing its identity. The green char and beel areas are becoming abuzz with their calls. This year, usually since November, there were guest birds in the Dalachara, Angulkata, and Gulishakhali char areas of Gulishakhali, but now they are a sight to behold. Fishermen and residents of the char area believe that the arrival will continue until February. The guest birds create a sweet atmosphere with the chirping sound in the water bodies, canals, and river channels of this upazila. Which gives a heavenly feeling to the visitors.

Gulishakhali fisherman Md. Bahadur said, I have been engaged in this profession since my childhood. We all have to take this profession first with our money. When we go fishing in the river. There are underwater chars inside the river, there were thousands of different birds. But today these birds have not been found for five or seven years. And even if they are found, one or two can be seen on the river.
