Recently, a condolence and discussion meeting was held on the untimely death of Niaz Morshed, a member of Amtali Upazila Press Club, and Zubayer Akhter Jannati, daughter of Amtali Upazila Press Club member Tanoy Molla and Amtali Journalist Club president Shah Muhammad Sumon Rashid.
The meeting was held at Amtali Upazila Press Club after Maghrib prayers Friday. Tanoy Molla was the son of Nannu Molla of Haldia Union and was a new member of Amtali Upazila Press Club, and Mosa: Zubayra Akhter Jannati was the son of Gulishakhali Moktar Ali (former member) and the eldest daughter of Amtali Journalist Club president Shah Muhammad Sumon Rashid.
At the meeting, the family members of both expressed their condolences and conducted a doa and milad mahfil.
Present at the event were Qazi Maulana Md. Mizanur Rahman, President of Amtali Upazila Press Club Md. Abu Sayeed Khokon (Manab Zamin), President of Journalist Club Shah Muhammad Sumon Rashid (Daily Bangladesh Khabar), General Secretary of Amtali Upazila Press Club Sajib Ahmed (Asian TV), Md. Mamunur Rashid Ratul (Vice-President) Amtali Upazila Press Club, Upazila Press Club Member Md. Saiful Islam (SJU), Md. Al Jaber, Member of Amtali Upazila Press Club and Md. Shahidul Islam Shaon, among others.
After the discussion and prayers, sweets were distributed to everyone as a blessing.
