The affected families have observed a human chain and sit-in program in Chapainawabganj demanding the return of money from the unregistered fake NGO Nibir Human Development Organization and the punishment of the owner.
Today, Thursday (December 26), more than 300 men and women participated in the hour-long sit-in program in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Chapainawabganj under the banner of the affected customers.
The participants protested against the harassment of customers by not returning their money and requested the concerned to take action against Nibir Human Development Organization and take measures to return the money earned by the customers through hard work.
In the sit-in program, the customer said that he is not getting the money after working hard and keeping a deposit of 7.5 lakh taka. He is demanding the money to be returned immediately.
The victims further said that one NGO after another, including Nibir, was playing tricks on people’s money and requested the administration to take action against these NGOs. Finally, they submitted a memorandum to the District Commissioner on behalf of the victims.
