Zakir Hossain; Naval police have arrested two people with a trawler and 1,400 liters of stolen diesel oil in Daulatdia, Goalanda Upazila, Rajbari.
Daulatdia Naval Base In-charge Md. Emran Mahmud Tuhin confirmed this information on Saturday (December 21) afternoon.
The arrested are Kamal Sheikh (35), son of Salim Sheikh of Majid Sheikh’s neighborhood in Daulatdia, Goalanda Upazila, Rajbari district, and Habil Bepari (32), son of Sattar Bepari of Nasir Sardar neighborhood in the same UP.
According to naval police sources, a force led by Daulatdia Naval Outpost In-charge Md. Emran Mahmud Tuhin, along with SI Masud Alam, based on secret information, arrested them with an old trawler and 7 barrels of oil, each containing 200 liters, totaling 1,400 liters of stolen diesel oil, at around 2:30 am on Friday in the area of ​​Ferry Ghat No. 2.
The case in this regard is under process.
