Wooden bridge in Amtoli took form of completion at initiative of BNP leader

After the incident of the bridge collapse in Sampati Amtoli, which killed 9 people, the local community prepared for the construction of the bridge at the initiative of Haldia BNP leader Maqbul Khan, and finally the wooden bridge was completed and the construction work was completed.

At this, Amtoli Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ashraful Alam inaugurated the wooden bridge for the movement of the public as the chief guest.
The inauguration meeting of the wooden bridge was chaired by prominent social worker Danshil Alhaj Md. Nannu Molla, and the special guest was the officer-in-charge of Amtoli Police Station Md. Ariful Islam, and the main speaker was the initiator of the bridge and the joint convener of Amtoli Upazila BNP Md. Maqbul Hossain Khan. Municipal BNP member secretary Jalal Ahmed Khan, municipal BNP leader Milton Biswas, Upazila Jubo Dal joint convener Mehedi Zaman Rakib. Upazila Chhatra Dal member secretary Md. Imran Khan, and dignitaries of Amtoli Upazila Haldia Chawra Union were present at the time.

Amtoli Upazila Chhatra Dal member secretary and Haldia’s son Md. Imran Khan said that after the Haldiahat Iron Bridge collapsed on June 22, communication between 50,000 people of Haldia and Chawra Union was cut off. After the collapse, there was no end to the suffering of the people living in Haldia. The Iron Bridge was the only means of communication between the people of Haldia Union and the Upazila Parishad, including government offices and courts.
Students, the elderly, the elderly, children and women will now be able to go to the city through the wooden bridge in an easy way.

Upazila BNP joint convener Md. Maqbul Hossain Khan said that the wooden bridge has been built with everyone to alleviate this suffering of the people. The construction of the wooden bridge has been completed within a limited time. Local expert Md. Nannu Molla said that if the public responds to the construction of the wooden bridge and works in this way, any impossible task can be made possible.
